Ombudsman tells DWP to pay WASPI compensation

The retirement age for ladies was elevated from 60 to 65 after 2010, in step with males, and can go as much as 66 by 2020, and to 67 by 2028.

The Ombudsman investigated complaints that, since 1995, DWP has failed to offer correct, sufficient and well timed details about areas of State Pension reform.
